Got a question for the wise hive.

Sugar is illegal in the big Meg, so what 'is' used? I'd hate to have to use 'Aspartame' when there must be a much more MC-1 term out there. But I can't remember it for the life of me.

Help?

Good question (and one I don't have an answer to).  If you don't get an answer, I'd invent something - probably playing on the words 'synthi', 'sweet' and/or 'sugar'.  Or 'psuedo' - would 'psuegar' be too difficult to decipher without explanation?

Er, don't think there are any actual named brands mentioned, but synthisweet and sweetex ring a bell.

I suggest Syntharin (synthetic saccharin).
