Rather nifty little proof-of-concept animated Dredd, with a more than whiff of Akira about it.
BLIMEY.
Thanks to Steve Green for turning up the link on Facebook.

(If I was going to nit-pick, the city could do with being a little more MC-1-ish and a little less generic, but I love Dredd himself which, to my eyes, owes a fair bit to Kev Walker's version.)

Blimey indeed.
There's a steadiness to his actions that I find quite chilling!

I was just about to post this, I saw it via John Freeman on DTT.
As a test this was all good to me, with some lovely nods to continuity and massive slabs of both Kev and Carl Critchlow.

Wow, that’s gorgeous.
Big chunks of the city look like placeholder images (so not worried about that) but the colouring/rendering of it is so lush.
PLEASE CAN WE HAVE THIS SERIES ???

Couple it with the ABC Warriors animation from all those years ago as well.

Wow that looks superb, animated Dredd series would be wonderful.
I know zero about the production of these things but would an animated series be more likely to be made than something live action. My (probably wrong) assumption is that animation is now more cost productive than it was in the past.....

That is fantastic and I would welcome this with or without the live action alongside(possible spin-off)
Looking forward would the Animation route (Animated Batman style and not Teen Titans)be a possibility for other characters and build up a library for newbies to tap into the 2000AD universe?

Here's the link to the Down The Tubes animation. Looks very Cyberpunk if a little stilted movement-wise, but a very impressive bike and an excellent render of the infamous Judge. The music is a little too distracting for me.

Had to look, but is
this
what you meant?
Pretty tasty, although more game suitable.
