More seriously, how do they get by - thought you had to be granted privileges to post to stop that sort of thing?

Not to cast aspersions but on Sim.Bot's profile it has him/her/they listed as an Administrator. Either this is genuine or it may be how the bots are getting into the forum.

I really don't know and if Sim.Bot is genuine then i apologize!

I have a suggestion to make and it is when you create a profile that you must first type in a random generated letters for you to continue. This is done mostly to stop bots and not humans.

And now Russian well drilling spam - I guess it makes a change from hot teens (e.t.c.). Seems like a rather niche service to spam though. I'm guessing that stack of links may be unwholesome and nothing to do with Well Drilling, I''m certainly not gonna click em to find out.

We’re clearing it up when it arrives. The web team has been notified, but the forum is not a priority, and there are loads of other things they’re dealing with ATM. Please just keep messaging mods/admins if something doesn’t get spotted, or mention infringing user accounts here.

Been meaning to say stirling job mobs. Its been pretty sustained attack but nothing seems to last long so seriously thanks for keeping on keeping on.
