.gifs in posts?

Is it possible to post a .gif on the forum?  I hosted one I made on imgur.com and it works fine but when putting it in a message here and previewing it it didn't seem to show up.

Any ideas?

Make sure it’s the file url, not a web page url? I posted a gif on the Space Spinner thread that worked okay.

Like, once its loaded into imgur, you need to right-click and...




Then, in the new tab, you copy that URL, to get...
