Fantastic DIGITAL deal. All of Nikolai 'What its been 10 years?!?' Dante for £35; including the novels (by the look). I mean if you do digital and haven't read Dante it doesn't get more must read than that!

Arguably the best 2000ad has ever done... if only there was a way to test that...

Update on the whole Zavvi thing, they had another ten Trek graphic novels deal which I ordered perhaps rather stupidly.

Again, marked as in stock, but when ordered they reneged on the order and said they were out of stock while constantly getting new single stock items in.

Also super shady is that they are marking some of these Eaglemoss books at £24.99 when they have a cover price of £9.99.  I don't know if that's even legal.
When the truth offends, we lie and lie until we can no longer remember it is even there, but it is still there. Every lie we tell incurs a debt to the truth. Sooner or later, that debt is paid. That is how an RBMK reactor core explodes. Lies. - Valery Legasov

Organisations can price things however they like. But at this point, I'm not sure why you'd want to order again from Zavvi. I back in the day did two orders myself—albeit on deals where you selected the books, rather than got random ones. The packaging was atrocious. One item was mis-sold. Customer support was at best poor. So that's not really an experience I want to repeat.

Feels weird to not buy an Image Humble Bundle, but I'm not going near that one with a barge pole.

Stick with the Terry Moore HB thats still lie for the next day or so instead.

IndigoPrime

Yeah, I already bought that one. SO MANY COMICS

IndigoPrime

I was going to ask about this. I've not heard of any of this stuff, but am increasingly grabbing European fare (The Golden Age; Carbon & Silicon). So this one's worth a punt, then?

One day, I might actually have time to read all these comics...

Colin YNWA

I would say absolutely

Orbital is fantastic.
All the Leo stuff, Aldebaran, Betelgeuse, Antares are just wonderful. As are the Niamibia books. I've not read Distant Worlds but will get to it for sure.

There a lot of other stuff I'm interested in.

We have a thread about Cinebook which might be worth scanning. It  covers a lot more than just their sci-fi books but well might give you some insight if you 'flick' through.

I'm very tempted by the Cinebooks bundle, but am put off by the requirement that it must be redeemed through the Izneo app. I don't want another comics app in my life. Chunky works, the 2000ad app works usually and there is Comixology if I really need it. Why do I have to get another?

IndigoPrime

Oh. I'd not spotted that. That's a red line for me. I just tried the app and it's another that doesn't give the slightest shit about vestibular accessibility, and the interface more broadly is best described as "not good". What a pity. Still, I've plenty of other things to read.

Humble's doing another Transformers set, although there's a ton of overlap with the previous one.

From what I can tell, if you got the other one, the new bits are the Transformers '84 books, Power of the Predacons, Beast Wars 1, Best of Megatron, Best of Optimus Prime, Halloween Special, Wreckers Saga, and 7 volumes of the 2019 strip (which oddly omits 4–6).

Forbidden Planet  London have copies of Accident Man for just £3.99 in their sale area

I know we are always after bargain comics and collections and here's a new one - you bid for the title, usually at a low price, and you might pick up a bargain on 2000AD, Treasury and UK comic creator books https://www.facebook.com/groups/1464212910678732
Not forgetting Colin Nobles collection too https://www.facebook.com/groups/414468220069644
