We have always taken a light view on swearing in general but I'm getting tired of reminding people that certain vulgar word for female genitalia isn't acceptable to use on this forum so from now on I will just start handing out bans.

There is currently a problem with processing some print subscription renewal payments, which unfortunately we inadvertently introduced when we went live with our new web shop (https://shop.2000ad.com ). If your subscription renewal payment is currently failing, it’s likely to be this problem, rather than a problem with your payment card, unless your registered payment card has expired.
We should have a fix rolled out soon, and will post here when this has gone live. You can either then make a manual subscription payment (here: https://shop.2000ad.com/account/subscriptions) to cover your failed renewal payment, or just wait for an automatic second attempt to collect payment to be made 7-days after the original failed payment.

As of the 23rd September (at around 14:00 BST) we will being removing the ability to change your username / display name, so you have from now until then to choose what you would like to stick with.

Website and Forum / Search Bar!!

Due to the increasing amount of topics / posts that are popping up across the forum regarding the search bar I thought I would start a dedicated topic on the subject:
Currently the search bar doesn't work!
I am working on a fully integrated user system across all 4 of our sites (2000adonline.com / forums.2000adonline.com / shop.2000adonline.com / wiki.2000adonline.com) this means that if you sign up to one site you have access to all 4 of them without having to sign up again or (potentially) sign into them all individually.
Along with a search system that pulls results from all 4 sites, I understand that the search feature is an important part of the forum which is why I am building the new user system in stages starting with the search functionality, but there is a lot of work involved with searching 4 sites that are located on different servers so please bear with me.
I believe the system is about 75% complete so should go into beta testing early next week*
*no promises though as we have a lot on at the moment

We have just completed a re-skin for the forum, if you see any pages that still use the old theme (or a mix of both in some places

I have now completed and uploaded the new active topics system. 
The 'Active Topics' link at the top of the page will now take you to a section that displays all topics in order of activity and not just the ones you haven't read.
Please reply to this thread with any bugs / discrepancies etc
