1.  Woolly
2.  Dave Thomson
3.  Simon Penter

HM. JT Pegg
Dumb all over, a little ugly on the side.

Pete Wells

Sigh, hardest one yet?

1 - Woolly, I love the colours and the design.

2 - Mike Carroll 01, now that's how a proper poster should look...

3 - Legendary Shark, great idea and I love the design for the sole of the boot incorporating the judge mask, absolute genius.

HM - Bolt & Buttonman, a hoot, especially Mr Carroll's critique of it.

I haven't voted in these contests for a while, although I always look at the art. I didn't like all the text and puns on these, but I mainly judged (!?) on the artwork.

Here goes:

1. JTPegg-
I love this. For some reason I mistook the cityscape at the bottom for streams of water, like Dredd is rising up out of it. I don't know if that design for the cityscape was intentional, but I think it works great in a kind of  metaphorical way.

2. Mike Carroll 01:
Simple image (although not simple to render I'd imagine with the light reflections etc) but great poster. Makes a statement.

3. Dave Thomson-
Nice kind of retro look. Very nice.

HM- CraveNoir-
For some reason it doesn't really look like how I imagine Dredd (but then again neither did the chap they chose, although I accept him) but this is a lovely dynamic picture.

CraveNoir

1: Dave Thomson - all round goodness
2: JTPegg - would like to see the rest of the Lawgiver. Love the design.
2: Iamthesystem 02 - a tough choice between IATS's two splendid entries

HM: Simon Penter for old-schooliness. I always like the respirator not being a pointy shield — something I believe Steve Dillon introduced for all you historians out there.

I couldn've HMed lots of people, and probably picked a completely different top three. That's a bit of a cliche, but it's no less true because of it. A lot of people had a lot of fun with this, and there's something to like in every entry.

Ignatzmonster

Amazing work turned in on this one.

1)woolly
2)supersurfer
3)kevlev

HM DaveThomson. One of the best drawn ones, but not one I would go to the movies to see! That said, if it featured Clarence Carter's "Slip Away" during a slo-mo Dredd beatdown of a futsie, I would pay to see it twice. Also love the Dredd kung-fu kick.

COMMANDO FORCES

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.
