I really enjoyed 300.

Sequel can't come soon enough.

They must live in a state of permanent fear to have that high a percentage of gun ownership. I want to know why they feel the need to own so much firepower!

Or, from a different angle...

http://mobile.bloomberg.com/news/2013-12-02/in-iceland-when-police-kill-a-gunman-they-apologize.html

It looks to me that they're not actually "in fear" of anything. The majority of gun ownership is apparently for the purpose of hunting. And the people themselves seem to be pretty easy going.

The government of Iceland is helping its citizens out by giving $1.25billion in debt relief to mortgage holders: washpost.bloomberg.com/Story?docId=1376-MX0VXI6S972H01-34GAU5TRU0OO8HQHVJ2ATVIRJI

.

And what is our government doing to help its citizens? Why, far more sensible things like chucking people off benefits, imposing a bedroom tax and giving as much money as it can to the banks.

.

Our Government is a shower of shit.

Iceland also has around 90,000 firearms compared with a population of about 300,000; and yet their statistics for violent crime seem to be one of the lowest I've ever seen. (i know 300,000 isn't large by any stretch but consider the fact that we're looking at a ratio of one-to-three for gun ownership).

Keep the floppy!

If people don't like it they don't have to read it; 'getting rid' of it entirely would be a massive mistake.

2. The Hero Quest board game that I so wanted as a boy but my old man didn't get

Seems you're not alone.

Heroquest was the greatest boardgame ever devised, and possibly the best Christmas present I've ever received (the Millennium Falcon is a very close second).

Heroquest (and Space Crusade) MUST return!

Pacific Rim.

I didn't like it.

I think It's massively overrated, badly acted; and the plot and script are an absolute joke!

The only good thing I can say about it is that the special effects are excellent.

Thought this might strike a cord with some here.

I think It's a good idea. Quite a few Politicians know absolutely Fuck all about science, and if they are confronted on tv by educated people that do know about science (and variations thereof) they might be less inclined to talk bollocks!

I also would like to see members of the general public on the panel, commenting on events relevant to the average person.
(I would also suggest members of the public by allowed to address the house of commons during PM questions, but that's another story).

I've watched Russia Today and the Al Jazeera news channel. Neither of them are wholly unbiased!

I really enjoyed the first three series, but series 4 doesn't seem to be doing anything at all. 6 episodes in and virtually nothing happening character/plotwise.

I hope this picks up otherwise it'll be consigned to my 'do not watch' list (along with 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and soaps).

The report does contain comments from EDL members, but I'm sure the enlightened amongst you can see through their putrid mumbling waffle!

Unfortunately I have viewed the film I regard as The Worst Film I Have Ever Seen twice.

It wasn't 'The Video Dead' was it? Christ alive that is without doubt the worst film I've ever seen. Although 'Shaolin Vs Evil Dead' is a very close second.

The Money Python team (minus Graham Chapman obviously) are re-uniting for a stage show.

A good idea methinks. Some of the tv stuff was hit and miss but I think the films are hysterically funny.

Hopefully this could lead to something more in the long term.
