Alas, still yet to make my first Bristol, this time due to impending promotion.
Can i ask?
Anyone fancy doing a sketch hunt for me and nabbing a finding fee in the process?
The perspective on that chairs all wrong

"Watch out next year - I can see myself liberated from drudgery this summer and harnessing the creative energy I've been expending on worry and professional development since as long as any of you have known me!"

If you succeed in that admirable goal, Ush, you will have to tell me how you've managed it ...

Cheers!

I'm keeping an open mind at the moment, but one thing's for sure: there's no more training I can do now!

I'm optimistic that in the next year either a) I'll get myself a career going, or b) I'll be back in low paid work again but with loads of leisure time I may be able to squeeze some creative projects into.
STRIKE !!!

Hi Ol, The pic hasn't been used as yet, but it has given us an idea for next issue that we are going to start working on at Bristol...

Should be shipping in on a daily basis from my Swindon bedsit. As usual the plan'll be to speak to everyone I only get to see ocassionally and generally whore myself out. Need to get my suit sorted out.

Haven't worked out costs yet... I suspect if I only buy small press stuff and the like i'll get more value for money AND support small press though.

Myself and the wife will also making the daily trip from sunny Wiltshire.

'preferably infront of a big comic book thingy or many Bristol landmarks'

Coming soon one of Bristol's landmarks will be a big statue of Darth Vader right in the city centre. Maybe.

I'll be there from Friday afternoon. I'll need a hand propping up the bar at the Ramada - if there's anyone offering, there may be a drink in it if you're strong enough.

I'll be wearing a very work out watchmen badge, a smile, and some clothes and things :-)

Christ on a bike - that should read 'worn-out watchmen badge' - don't want any of you getting ideas that I have some kind of smiley face with barbells style badge thing...

Yesss... I'll be there with Omnivistascope 4 (Gods willing) and going to try a more leaisurely ride down in a hope not to be knackered all weekend.

Looking forward to plonking myself in the Ramada bar about Friday afternoon and staying all day :)

Thinking of having a sign round my neck saying 'will swap comics for beer'.

Here's a taster, The Misfits, art by Matt 'Monstrosity' Herbert...
