Oh wow! That came out in my wilderness years so entirely missed it. Jus looking at the things covered based 0n those covers mean that Panelhouse would have been sooo up my alley and I wish there was something like that produced - or that I found it may well have been out there - as I returned to comics. It would have provided such a better focus for me.

David Wright's  amazing looking newspaper strip 'Carol Day' gets the apex edition treatment in this reprint volume - scanned mostly from the original art - Brian Bolland is (rightly) a big fan of the strip and has done the cover. Serious production values mean a serious price. Available to pre-order now.

2 Mike Noble pages from his 'Robin Hood' work for Look-In are the highlight (for me anyway) in the latest Catawiki auction of original (British) comic art - all the highlights are here...

The earliest appearance of 'Superman' in UK comics is currently up for sale (the same seller also has the 2nd strip to be reprinted)...both issues from 1939 and I'm not the seller. More details/images on the blog.

Time for an update to my guide to all the work that Dan Cornwell has done for 2000AD/The Megazine - there's a lot. I don't think I've missed anything but do let me know if I have

Any Frank Quitely fans out here help me out? I've always wondered how many issues of 'Electric Soup' featured his work. I've found a few covers but not sure about interior work. Thanks!

I don't know very much about Marvel UK's (1994) 'Jim Henson's muppet babies' comic except that it's not to be confused with Marvel UK's 'Muppet babies' comic from about a decade earlier! At least 3 issues and a special.

An intriguing couple of lots up for auction this week relating to the 1976 Ally Sloper comic 'revival' by Denis Gifford - the art 'jam' piece includes contributions from Kevin O'Neill (faintly!), Hunt Emerson & many more - it's really big so thing carefully before bidding
