Prog / Re: Prog 1559

Mine arrived yesterday.

Good issue -

Dredd is moving along nicely, really enjoying the return of Mandroid.

Stone Island & ABC Warriors both wrap up, which is a good thing in my opinion. I've enjoyed botth, but not real classics & the ending in SI is too quickly dealt with.

Enjoying Button Man - and loving Fraser Irvings art, also looks as if this is going to be carrying on for a while longer,  which is good as despite having 9 episodes so far, it only now seems to be getting going.

This arrive yesterday & I've yet to see a review for it - so i'll start one.

Dredd - Ok - nothing special, a throwaway story.

Stone Island - Still getting into the story, but the art is great.

ABC Warriors - I don't know the back story to this strip, so not enjoying it as much as i could - but the art is again great.

Cabalistics Inc - really enjoying this - just a great story & the best in the current prog.

Button Man - again haven'yt read any previous stories - but i'm a big fan of Fraser Irving's art.

Overall  - not a bad prog and a wide variety of stories on offer.

I was a bit disappointed with Defoe - while it's continuing next year, the end of this arc seemed rushed.

They've had 10 issues of build up - then the zombie's are defeated by kicking Cromwells head off a pike.

A real anti-climax.

I think she had killed his favourite sheep, as punishment.

Dredd - Ok,

86 ers - struggled to read - not really sure what is going on - as I know none of the back story

Greysuit - nice episode, this seems to be picking up the pace a bit in the last couple of progs

Robohunter - not my thing

Defoe - highlight of the week again - really enjoying where this is going - and the art is great.

Overall a mixed week - and my prog was almost completely ruined by the rain.

I think the art on Robohunter is okay, but the art does have rushed feeling to it.
