Carlos said he did 42 sketches on the day and his only break was his time on his panel.

I'm in a pub and it's awesome!

Great to see all the faces in the bar for the last 12 hours. Now cuddled up with Pete 😁

You'll be okay, you'll soon see that we're not all as mad as we may appear on here. You'll wonder what the fuss was all about and have a shed load of awesome memories to take away from the weekend

Is the collected trade coming out in 2018?
#23
Sadly they had none ready, so I went for the Chicken instead :D

That's correct and I'll be heading over for the Pat & Kev show as well but I may have quaffed at least a drink or two before ;)

Then it was off to The Grinning Demon for the handover to Dan, for Mark's next leg of 2000 AD goodness.

Don't forget to grab Mark at some time over the day and get his signature folks

We managed to grab a bite to eat in the world famous Pete Wells Pasty Emporium, sorry Pete, you lost out in breaking his Pasty Cherry  ;)

As you can see, we did it the posh way and ate inside.

For some of us lucky buggers the 40th has already begun. The man from down under made it to the UK OK but eventually escaped from the Cellar and ran to the comic shop when I wasn't looking!

Mark Sexton signed his superb cover to one of the IDW Dredd issues. I think he's gonna be signing for a long time come Saturday, so make sure you don't miss out!

What a load of stomm!

I've just checked with the hotel and there are two bars on site, one for the Con and the other's for anyone. Those that didn't get a ticket can still come along for a drink and soak up a bit of the atmosphere, until we hit the pubs!

Joost van der Westhuizen the excellent South African Rugby player has passed away aged 45.
He had motor neurone disease and was an amazing ambassador fighting this terrible disease and a true inspiration. R.I.P.
