Not sure if this should be here or the Help section, but I'm sure the mods can move it if I have chosen poorly.

I have a birthday coming up, and my girlfriend has begun hassling me for pressie ideas. I was thinking I could do with a good reference book on perspective, but a quick Amazon search has left me drowning in choice.

So, I have decided to come here for some good recommendations. Any ideas?

I own this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vanishing-Point-Perspective-Comics-Ground/dp/1581809549/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1316556451&sr=8-1

it starts off quite gently but some of the later stuff is very complex but acheivable. I am not an artist but enjoy learning and it was a lot of fun.

There's this:

Perspective! for Comic Book Artists: How to Achieve a Professional Look in Your Artwork by David Chelsea http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0823005674?ie=UTF8&tag=pauljholden-21&linkCode=shr&camp=3194&creative=21330&creativeASIN=0823005674&ref_=sr_1_1&qid=1316635920&sr=8-1

And this:

Extreme Perspective! For Artists (Book & DVD) by David Chelsea http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0823026655?ie=UTF8&tag=pauljholden-21&linkCode=shr&camp=3194&creative=21330&creativeASIN=0823026655&ref_=sr_1_2&qid=1316635920&sr=8-2

No idea if there the same book with an added dvd though - suspect the extreme may cover more wacky ground. The first is a ground grounding in it.

Oooooh, Extreme Perspective ey? Like, drawing perspective while riding a horse over a pit of alligators while the horse is ON FIRE!?!? I like the sound of that.

Seriously, this is all helpful, thanks guys.
