Nothing to add that hasn't already been said better, but this was a stupendous prog. Bad Company, in particular, was like a trip back in time. Brilliant execution.

Wow, yeah, what's up with Joe?

I love that the Meg is in such a bad way. The remaining population now clustered around the warm glow of the Hall of Justice, Judges having to rely on special constables to keep things running, rebellion festering within the ranks. There's change in the air. Can't wait to see where it goes.

Alienist isn't really doing it for me, although the art is great.

Grey Area is interesting, and is growing on me. The art is mouth-watering, although a little impenetrable at times. The story is the least exciting thing about it, though, which has to be a problem.

Dreams of Deadworld...Kind of cool, but I want any DJ story to blow my socks off. Anything less is bound to be a disappointment.

The current Dredd is absolutely superb. A rich story working multiple characters, tons of action, great dialogue (I too enjoyed "I can't feel my balls"), and amazing art. It's the high-point of an excellent prog.

Of the others, Helium is all kinds of perfect, the Future Shock...didn't, Jaegir remains slightly impenetrable but I'm looking forward to re-reading the whole thing, and I must admit I haven't bothered with Outlier very much.

Great work.

This was a fantastic prog. The recap pages for Strontium Dog and Slaine helped me, in particular. I'm not new to those strips by any means, but I've been out of the game for a few years.

Slaine art was some of the most impactful I've seen in the prog for ages.

Not sure what's up with Joe...meat sweats?

All-in-all, can't wait for Saturday. Bloody well done, Tharg.

I love this game but it's kicking my ass.had I been on the Nostromo I'd have died before Kane.Save system causing me biggest problem in that I keep forgetting to save.Modern games have been bloody spoiling me with their auto saves.
Save every time you see a save point...and don't, as I did, assume that you're safe when doing so. The alien can pop up and spike you a new one in the few seconds it takes to do.

Dammit. I now have the hope.

It's not like David Duchovny has anything better to do. :) I wonder how the character dynamics will play out. That conflict and chemistry between the two leads that's so essential. They've both seen so much now. And it needs a big idea - aliens are among us isn't going to cut it. Hopefully there's some kind of artistic reason to revisit the story. Carter is good writer, the first few seasons of this show were wonderful at times, and there's a lot of interesting material to work with in these crazy troubled times. It could be really cool.
I totally agree, and fervently hope this experiment segues into a new, full series.

The last great unanswered question of the original series is the actual arrival of the aliens that have been foreshadowed the entire time -- i.e. the colonization itself. Difficult to see how they would execute that without the program becoming a bad copy of V (which was already bad), but that's not my problem to solve. :)

The other issue is the fact that (spoilers for the last movie) the two of them are actually an item now. They made it work in the film, I thought...but I wouldn't be surprised if they just retconned that whole thing out.

Quote from: ThryllSeekyr on 15 March, 2015, 09:54:53 PMI would love to know how they do that, have them selves miniaturised at the right bottom of the screen in the foreground of their own gameplay videos.
Green-screen (chroma-key) curtain behind them, and a video-mixer that supports it, like X-Split. :)

Far worse to come.its fucking terrifying on hard.
I don't even know how you would do that. I played on Normal (or whatever the default is), and there are sections I had to redo ten or fifteen times, especially near the end.

Bolland is well up in my rankings with the Mighty diumverate of McMahon and Carlos...but Henry Flint is currently my main man. the Titan sequel simply cannot come soon enough. Z
Before I started collecting the Case Files I would always have put Bolland up there as my favourite Dredd artist, but man...I'm just blown away by some of the stuff Dillon and Robinson put out in the 80's.

That looks splendid. Sounds exactly like Ben Affleck in the opening VO!
