The sort order of the books doesn't seem that logical.  You should have alphabetical (and reverse alphabetical, for when you want 'T' or some character it's quicker to start searching from Z) as well as publication date.

I'd like to see physical copies of the prog available as well as digital ones (the old webshop sold back issues).

Sov Judge Traktorfaktori

Weren't his underlings Judges Brylkreem and Riboflavin?

I was also tickled by a location called Hypotenuese Square in a Dredd story I read recently (perhaps in Restricted Files 2).

Another vote for 'Suther'.  The 'Sowther' pronunciation was the worst thing in the Rogue Trooper game I thought.  It made me think of those Americans who don't understand how English works and can't work out words like 'Slough'.

Regarding the Cursed Earth, I always pronounced it "Curs'd" until the movie came along.  It makes sense to me that Americans would say "Curse-ed", just as Dredd pronounces "duty" as "dooty" in the audio plays.

The difference being that Dredd is set in the US, so American pronounciation makes sense.  Rogue isn't, so it doesn't.

At this rate we'll be reading on what board members think the colour of any Judicial underpants will be.

Department Issue blue!  :D

Well that is one thread headed off at the pass.

No, now we start splitting into blue uniform/black uniform factions....

I stand by my belief that there is only one man who has the chin to play Dredd. David Coulthard.

Get Ron Perlman to dub his voice and we have a winning Dredd

If you're going to dub the voice, go for Toby L!

A shambling figure hunches over a microphone, cackles "Vid slug quotation number one" and launches into --

I have to agree with Robin.

I don't mind it being a bit fun, but I was hoping for something that looked more like a reference work.

And just looking at the extract I saw this:

As Dredd noted in his log of the journey: ‘What worries me is the Judge Child… he’s more than just a pre-cog – he can twist the future. Manipulate it – and not always for good. This city my city is depending on is touched by a streak of evil.’

That doesn't seem right - shouldn't it be "this boy" or "this child"?

From Ash:
"rogue is after mongrol, then female and male judges, then mean, then alpha, more abc, then !"

What?!  Genuine original Rogue?  You little beauty!

This news is so good it makes me want to submit a Dredd script to 2000AD involving the hunt for a multiple-doppelganger perp named John Arsom so I can shoehorn in some dialogue like:

Judge 1: "Is this Arsom?"
Dredd: "This is Arsom!"

simply so I can post the panel of Dredd declaring that THIS IS ARSOM everywhere.

Oh, and his family would run Arsom Industries, so we could get some hover trucks with ARSOM written on the side in the background of various panels.

The Cannes poster seems to be the cover for one of the US "Mega-City Masters" books:

No major news, but something to cheer up a dull Tuesday morning:

From Ashley Wood: "tharg comes with some cups, tharg fans know why !"

Erm, to provide his doctor with a sample?

Does the prog make enough to support itself, or is it a loss-leader for the trades?

Really, really don't ask this question! Rebellion have been nice enough to field someone, it's a bit much to then put them in the position of even having to decline to answer something as commercially sensitive as this!

That's a good point actually; I withdraw the question.  What I really was looking for was some kind of confirmation from Rebellion that the prog will continue in the foreseeable future.

These are probably way outside the remit of our visitors, but let me ask anyway -

Does the prog make enough to support itself, or is it a loss-leader for the trades?

Have they considered a giveaway issue for free Comic Book Day?

How did the new line of Judge Dredd audios go?  I'm not sure over what period Big Finish judge them to have succeeded, but have they indicated whether they'd like to do more?  Or never in a million years?

Is there any chance of another 2000AD-themed computer game? (Subquestion - are they planning/working on anything to tie in with the Dredd film?)

Are there any plans to get the webshop revamped & running properly, especially the on-line back issue ordering service (very handy for overseas customers)?

Is it possible for them to post news on the front of the website?  We seem to find out about everything via the back door (e.g. e-tailer listings) or a forum announcement.  Be proud of your stuff, guys!  Hawk your wares!

Can I please have a Dash Decent Case File, about the size of the Droid Life trade?  There's only about 20 pages of Dash, so they could do something like print a row of each strip across a two page spread, so you get about two panels per page.  That would beef it up to 80 pages and allow it to be both pocket sized and legible.  No?  Okay, then I'd also buy the coffe table covers book, as long as it was large, glossy and lavish.
