Pretty sure Slaine will be back, but I don't think anyone can begrudge him a nice long rest.

Maybe not so hot take: Photoshop 6, or maybe 7 at a stretch, was essentially feature complete and everything that's been added since detracts from it.

It looks great. I'm particularly interested to see the story by Dave Law of Space odditorium (https://www.spaceodditorium.com/) - he's got a lovely chunky 2000adish style, would love to see him in the prog some day.

Bring back Oink!

(It is probably insanity and hugely impractical to bring back Oink!, also it ran for like a year so the audience is probably tiny, and I'm not sure they own the best bits of it. Still: BRING BACK OINK!)

In all fairness - Art 'was' FutureQuake - without his work the comic would not exist.

But Class of '79 was before that and a motherlode of big names now, as well as the birthplace of Heston (Jake writing, Henry drawing, Logan doing edits).

That's lovely. Should say that Class of '79 was a bit before my time on the small press scene - I was more in the FutureQuake/Zarjaz/Solar Wind scene.

City of the Damned and Raptaur are personal faves, City of the Damned particularly, so I'm going to quibble the rankings which probably wouldn't be MY rankings, but, eh, nothing they say is wrong and it's hard to name any story's that would go under them that aren't in their own way worthy.

Also if we're honest Necropolis did City of the Damned better and without a time machine.
