Strange. Gareth Ennis using the term "British anthology, 2000AD" to describe the Galaxies Greatest???

May be because he's talking to a yank that he needs to explaine it a bit more.

I seen Garth in Belfast's Forbidden Planet a few weeks ago.

Never liked McCray's (SP?) art though.

Agreed. I don't like McCrea's artwork either. Though I remember when he used to work in Dark Horizons in Great Victoria St. He suggested I buy some of his stuff rather than the Bryan Talbot Nemesis page I had my eye on. Nemesis it was...

I liked 'Troubled Souls' a lot, but nothing after that was worth looking at. His pen and ink in particular was scratchy, awkward and generally ugly, though a depressing number of other artists seem to aspire to it.

Troubled Souls was pretty awful, but I have to say that I can't begrudge McCrea when he draws stuff like this:http://www.newsarama.com/dcnew/Hitman/Hitman13-22.jpg">

Obviously I don't agree with you regarding Troubled Souls, but the pic you post is a lot more fun and attractive than what I remember of McCrea's other stuff. What's it from?

It's from Hitman - the issue featuring the zombified inhabitants of an aquarium.

Obvipously you should track that issue down on eBay, and in no way warez it.
