Interesting one this one. I think I know which way its going, but it might be closer than it seems at first glance. So get those votes in today as they might swing this one when I count up in the morning.

I'll bow out of this one.  I disliked them both - I didn't think much of either of the writers at the time (funny how they've become two of the most important comics writers in the world now, and one of them has become one of my favourite).

VOTING CLOSED

Interesting one. Two thrills not held in high regard and one respected boarder made that quite clear, but I actually think there's a manic energy to Manaic 5 that I enjoy and its one of those Millar strip that allows his childish excess to work. However there is also no denying it was nice to have Phillip Bond in the Prog, even if the strip wasn't one to embrace. Maybe its in that basis that

Time Flies

Gets into the 2nd Round. It sure has heck can't be the second series!

Would have voted Maniac 5 - an early Millar strip that delivered IMO.

A decent match up this one.

Time Flies was a bit of daft fluff elevated by Philip Bond's wonderful art.

Maniac 5 was better than the average Mark Millar joint.
