I keep trying to listen to Motörhead's new album, "Aftershock", but I keep getting interrupted.
I've listened to various bits of it several times, but I've yet to get all the way through it.
Tsk. Modern life, eh?

My girlfriend has smashed my favourite mug. It was this one:



She's disproportionately sorry about it and the constant heartfelt apologies are, if anything, slightly more annoying than no longer owning an awesome Dredd mug. Problem is, they've sold out in the 2000AD shop, so she can't replace it. I have other mugs, but she's on a mission. So: anybody either have one they're willing to part with for a reasonable price or know where I can lay hands on one?

How long before the "KENNY WHO?" graffiti appears?

As a cyclist who does a modest 8-mile round trip most days Monday-Friday, I'm going to say cyclists are no more a menace than motorists. There are selfish idiots everywhere, regardless of their chosen mode of transport. For every "bad cyclist" tale CF produces I could easily recount tales of being cut up, sideswiped, driven off the road and generally harrassed by motorists. Having said that, I was held up something wicked by two different dawdling cyclists this morning, so there's fault on both sides.

Deviating slightly. it doesn't help that a number of roads on my commute are knackered, so I have to ride a couple of feet out from the kerb in places to avoid potholes, sunken grids and general debris. Does this deter the more heavily-armed road users from trying to squeeze past me at speed? Does it hell. If the council could fix the roads and maybe throw in a few cycle lanes while they're at it, that would be lovely.

Mind you, a bloody truck driver would only park on them and ruin it... 

Can't really justify buying a Blu Ray I already own when I just massively cut back on food spending (I forsee many rice and tinned fish based dinners in my immediate future). I did, however, stream it on Netflix US and rate it a full 5 stars (accidentally spamming half of Facebook in the process). I've done a bit of Twittery pokery through the day, too. So: when does shooting begin?
