I've not read these either...I need more TPBs Tharg!

Oh no Rogue Judge I worried this might happen. You've been a stalwart voter in these tourney's of late and I don't want to exclude you... fingers crossed things get better in terms of recognisable thrills...

No worries, thanks Colin - I'll still leave a comment and vote where I can. If anything, this will be a learning and provide direction for thrills I've not read but are worth pursuing.

Necrophim was ok, though a bit lacklustre.  I always liked Past Imperfect though - a welcome addition to the slots filled by Future Shocks, Terror Tales, Time Twisters, Pulp Sci-Fi, Vector 13 etc when other series finish.

Also, you don't get many 2000ad thrills named after grammatical tenses, so Past Imperfect for me.

I think what I might do is try to perfect these last day bump posts and then just copy and past it each time I'm bumping a post for its last day to warn folks that they only have one day to vote... which is the case here, so you ya know I'll be counting up first thing in the morning... it'll save a lot of effort...

Necrophim was a quite terrible Thrill. Swearing and saying you're nefarious isn't really the same as characterisation. The best I can say about it is it gave Lee Carter some exposure and room to improve his art.

Past Imperfect is a largely forgotten (by me, anyway) banner but looking at Barney I remember liking Monty Nero's one and the first Dandridge was one of several Alec Worley one-offs that went above and beyond in creating a world for a short.

Past Imperfect.
We never really die.

Link Prime

A poor mans Vertigo series, but nevertheless - Necrophim

VOTING CLOSED

So, so far and its early days, this tourney is proving popular I mean in what world did I expect Necrophim and Past Imperfect to get nearly 20 votes AND a number of folks wanting to play along but having to abstain. So wow. In this vote the clear winner was

Necrophim

Past Imperfect suffering from the inconsistancy of all series of one offs and a slightly muddled USP. Personally I'm really pleased as for all it faults I'm a big booster for the 'Vertigo' light of Uriel and co and the twisty turny twists of its plot. And they storm the heavens of Round 2

God Lord people. You all deserve to be stuck in hell with the Spin Doctors devil.  :o :o
If I'd known it was harmless I would have killed it myself.

Don't stress it - its all probably just an over elaborate plot to get Past Imperfect to win the whole thing...
