SMACH Zero is officially the new name of the first handheld console that runs Steam OS. It is a new way of playing Steam games wherever and whenever you want. SMACH is a third party that is not developed by Valve Corporation. They expect to launch the SMACH Zero in 2016.

The former name, Steamboy Project, was a provisional name for their prototype. It just had the purpose to describe the goal of the handheld console. The SMACH team is still working on the development of the prototype. The production of SMACH Zero is expected to start in 2016.

Their main goal is to create a prototype that makes it possible to play the latest games on Steam. With the SMACH Zero you will be able to play everywhere you want. At the moment they are working on the final specifications.

The design of the SMACH Zero will have similarities with the new Steam controller announced by Valve. More information about the SMACH Zero will be given during the E3 in June 2015.

The SMACH team would like to thank everyone for all the feedback and support from the Steam community.

Homeworld Remastered.
If you've never played Homeworld before then I feel bad for you, it's probably the best RTS ever made and ate a huge chunk of my time.
A remastered version of HW1 & 2 came out today and it looks and sounds fantastic

The original sequel was always much better than the first. The graphics and some other features as well.

I've been looking at this on STEAM, but don't know if I will buy yet. How much better are the remasters.

You are literally the only person on the planet to say HW2 is better than 1.

The remaster is based on a heavily updated HW2 engine, which has broken a bunch of HW1 specific things, models, textures, sound have all been remastered so it looks and sounds really good, additional lighting, particle and shadow effects and upto 4k support added. It seems to have a better sense of scale, mother ship looks massive. You also get the two classic unaltered games thrown in.
Multi player is in beta because the balance between HW1 and 2 units is particularly janky and steam workshop is in so there will be mods.
A lot of people are having trouble with it but I've not come across any bugs yet and a lot of people with OCD are going mental about tiny insignificant things, I saw one guy asking for a refund because resource collectors were stationary instead of orbiting asteroids when collecting RU

Predestination. I thought it was very clever if a little too clever and consequently left me a little confused since I'm a dunce at logic.

Ethan Hawke is the time travelling agent attempting to prevent a maniac bomber killing thousands of innocent people. Posing as bartender in 1975 he strikes up a conversation with a man who has a very, very strange tale to tell one that involves a secret Government Organization, personal loss and gender identity.

It does make sort of sense in the end. Really.

This film is great, I keep telling people to watch it.

If you've never played the original what is wrong with you? It's one of the greatest RTS games and I hope Gearbox haven't ruined it.

I've been playing Shadow of Mordor and by playing I mean repeatedly stalked by Kuga the Mad who just shouts PICKLES at me and then body slams me into the next life.
If it wasn't so funny I would snap my controller in half

The name [n]Kuga the Mad[/b] means nothing in your game, because in each different players game, the Uruk's names are randomly generated.

I always wondered what randomly generated meant, thanks for clearing that up 

For want of better way of saying it. I think they used the words Procedurally-Generated, but that didn't seem right to me when saying the names were randomally generated differently for each different game.

Do they not have sarcasm in Austria?
