I’m not normally a Meg reader. Do I take it this issue is similar to the prog ie a one off set of zombie stories with no other continuing stories? If so I may buy it.

Yes. It's more of the same.

I thought it was good silly fun. I think that Russell Olson is new to the prog, but I would recommend checking out his Gateway City series, which is very good. The only thing that I didn't get in the prog was the person making Psi-division's heads explode. Who was that?

I suspect that Jim is right, but I am genuinely torn on which way to vote in the final. Which is as it should be - it would be a dull contest where every choice was an easy one.

Nemesis the Warlock for siding with the devil

It's arguable that Dante, with his sinful ways, sided with the devil. Nemesis IS the devil.

For the avoidance of doubt my vote remains with Dante.

Nemesis be damned! Remind me of the rules permitting a second vote.

I love Lawless, but not against Stront

Nemesis had a great opening, and some wonderful art along the way. It rambled badly in the middle though and ended poorly. Dante on the other hand started less well, but found its feet remarkably quickly and soon became essential. It too had a wobble in the middle (Amerika, I'm looking at you) but even at this point it was still coherent, enjoyable and took the story forward. And it ended beautifully. Dante FTW.

If we are going under I will follow with Dale Winton Underhang.

Got to be Hekate from there. Get out of that.

Much as I hate to do this to Halo it's got to be Strontium Dog

Dante, Twinkletoes.

Zenith for me. Nemesis is good, of course, and the earlier parts bordered on genius but it did tend to drift in the middle and came to an unsatisfying end. Even the brief return of Tubular Hells was just another scrap. Zenith on the other hand was quality throughout (Zzzenith being an entirely separate strip that for some reason hasn't featured in this tourney).

I am probably being thick, but didn’t get the Agnew Stair joke. Could somebody explain the obvious?
