80's horror movie-tastic cover art.Not sure of it's merits, originality wise, but it sure is a striking image! Takes me back to watching The evil dead, on a beaten up Palace Pictures VHS;pure retro nirvana.Never know, might convince a few lapsed 2000ad readers to jump back on board. "join usssss."

Feel like i need to clarify my position on this debate. I'm not ridiculing anyone for their love of comics-i'm a fan myself-and have had to deal with my fair share of incredulous looks, when i tell my work collegues that i'm nipping out to pick my comics up!I was mearly trying to offer an alternative opinion;i'm with you guys on this one. I do feel, however, that it is unfair to berate someone, e.g. Ennis, just because you dislike them personally. That's not objective criticism.Wagner wrote Confessions of a teenage tax consultant, which apart from some excellent Gibson art, i thought sucked the big one- doesn't mean that, generally, i don't think that he is one of the best goddamn writers there are in comics today. So apololgies if i rubbed anyone up the wrong way, cause ultimately, costructive, reasoned debate is healthy; Not saying you have to drop the passion, just the zealotry(shit maybe i am taking this too seriously). Anyway, big love out to you all!

Think some of you guys are taking this comics medium just a touch too serious. In my opinion, comics are like Movies, they're a disposable commodity, designed for one thing only-entertainment.There are good movies/comics, and bad movies/comics- the  thing that distinguishes one from another, is whether they are entertaining or not.Is it important that Mark Miller wrote some duff Robo-Hunter strips, if some of his Dredd strips where o.k.I know i've read some mediocre Wagner stories, in my time;no-one can maintain perfection indefinately.Even the best directors of all time(Kubrick, Spielberg, Carpenter)have done some clinkers-doesn't mean that there successes are any less credible. In my mind, a good story is a good story, regardless of the inviduals track record

Oh, come on man, cut Miller some slack! I personally thought Purgatory and Inferno cooked, and it featured some fucking awsome Esquerra art; aswell as some none too subtle Apocalypse Now references, if memory serves me right. Having said that, it's about ten years since i read it, so i could be talking complete bollocks.

I spend too much money on DVD's, in to music in a big way.Play in a band called SAVALAS.We can normally be found playing or proping up the bar in the STAR public house in Ashford, kent! Actually here's as good a place as any to advertise; we're looking for a new drummer, anyone on the chat room know anyone who lives in the Ashford(kent) area and likes to bash the skins?

Any chance we'll see a Gamecube version of the Dredd/Death game? Don't really want to buy a ps2 just to play this game.

The original Terminator(IMHO)is a far more inovative movie, which on a fraction of T2's budget, contains more originality ideas(excluding the well worn SF time travel plot)and superior characterisation, than it's overblown, product placement reliant sequal! Still, they do say that opinions are like arseholes!
