Looks like it's the Christmas issue to me, not the new year one.

Got a spare if you want one, SS. Could hand over at the next meet up or post it to you.
I got lucky and picked up the last copy from my not-so-local thrill merchant. Close shave, as it's sold out on the 2000AD shop.

Thanks Eamon. I will check the thrill merchant on Tuesday after work. If they don't have it I will take you up on your offer.

Didn't buy this. I saw it in a thrill merchant a couple of times but I was hoping to attend one of the many comic shop events and to purchase it there. Was too busy to attend any signings or the talk at Orbital. I then kept emerging from work too late for the thrill merchants. I might have to purchase a digital version, seeing as the print version is out of stock from the 2000AD shop.

When Star Lord first appeared I was under the impression that Strontium Dog was a sword and sorcery series because of the front cover of issue 1.

I can imagine in early days how some colouring could be off.

Not a big deal, but worth a mention:

Let me retract my earlier keenness to see this. No chance am I sitting in a cinema for almost three hours.

Well done all.

Thanks to those who participated and of course to CFM.

Looking forward to the next incarnation.

I'm not saying I put a ton of weight in review scores because they don't always reflect my own tastes...
I've seen some real duds at the cinema after reading positive reviews (thanks Guardian) but having read a review of Blade Runner 2 in the Evening Standard, which gave it five out of five stars, I'll definitely be booking tickets to see it.

Discussed on this old MANGA DREDD thread where this was posted by M.I.K.:

QuoteNecropostifying 'cos I just found this in the March '96 issue of Anime FX magazine...

(Photobucket image working for now.)

I wonder if Jonathan Clements did give his lowdown.

News / Re: Rebellion to 'Reboot' Roy of the Rovers
29 September, 2017, 03:59:34 PM
Can't say I am too interested in Roy of the Rovers.

But surely it's time Rebellion got their hands on the archives of la-la-la-la-la-Look-in*. Those Brian Moore soccer tips and Benny Hill funny pages are begging for a reprint.

Blimey, my brother had this issue. Was so jealous of the Bionic x-ray eye I tried to make one.

John Burns: Bionic Woman.

Jim Baikie: Charlie's Angels.

Arthur Ranson: Sapphire & Steel.

Martin Asbury... the list goes on.

*An impossible licensing nightmare.

Can I email mine as I can't upload it?

And ******s.

So the plan was to make my own Future Shock. And this is as far as I got.

There is a script to this but alas no time for the lettering. So hopefully it will make sense.

Trying to get Imgur to work. I see what you mean, Goaty.

It's uploading...
