According to Total Film,  they used this image in the Star Trek: Into Darkness trailer to hide a link to a new poster (presuming this was most likely to be paused on). Dunno who it's meant to be; Nurse Chapel or Yoeman Rand? A handsome lass whoever she is.

I was watching Kahn the other day and realised her appearance was a foregone conclusion - to avoid Kirk basically being a Deadbeat Dad, she has to turn up so she can be killed off.  Then Kirk can have revenge for her death on top of the revenge for the other deaths in the trailer, and the revenge for the death of his dad he got in the previous film.  Because reboot Kirk is more intresting and comp-lick-ate-id than the old one who is for nerds.
