I am getting a big Colin Wilson vibe off that winning page (in a good way of course). A cracking and well deserved winner. I look forward to seeing him / her in the Prog.
It would be great to see all the entries together to see how everyone interpreted the script.

i guess i better post mine here rather than the earlier links

Ah, I see. They didn't do eliminations when I had a crack a couple of years back - well, not unless I missed something. The work was selected on the Saturday, and critiqued by panel on the Sunday. Consequently everyone had a hangover, I suspect. It was a bit more, "Ugh, this one is the winner...or maybe this one..."
Yeah it was like that, i just meant i made it to the voting/judging/critique round but didnt win

Paul thanks for the kind words - very nice of you to say. I can see that yours was very consistent in terms of style and flow.  As I eluded to before I got a bashing with regards my cityscapes been too precise and my figure work been brasically below par , I should have used reference as oppose to being too proud in thinking I could do it straight from the imagination . I hope you give it another go next year and I'll enjoy the friendly sparring :)

we'll see ;)

Seems a bit harsh. Why were you eliminated?

Basically because, unfortunately for me, the guy who won it was very good, his city-scapes in particular were awesome, tho' i only saw a single page of his work...

Thanks guys, some great points Emperor, id deliberately avoided reading that thread, in fear of plagiarizing the work there...but if i choose one of those scripts, ill post it there. I actually thought the "Cycle of Violence" was a good choice for Dredd, ill have a look at the other one again.
...Thanks for authourising me :), i thought i noticed you following my blog, i was impressed with your blogs too

Hi, Im finishing up a comic strip and i want to start work on a submission to 2000ad, ive seen the sample scripts on submissions page, but my question is this...which character should i choose?
1)Dredd classic choice? ( i imagine this'll be my choice, unless someone advises differently)
2)simply a futureshock?
3)another subject entirely?
...or am i over thinking? it doesnt really matter, its the quality of the work that matters
heres some examples of my 2000ad works (fingers crossed this works)
