I say out!

I understand collectors like to  keep things boxed to protect them and keep the value up but... I just think an action figure is meant to be out of the box. I'd keep the box in a safe place though.

Peace is a lie, there's only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.

Our Nerve Centre consignment of Tharg figures hasn't turned up yet!

You lucky people.

Text message from Mrs X:-

"I'm aff ma nut on thrill power"

Now, either she's washed by Big Rab McNutter T-Shirt or Tharg has arrived.

Good God, man! Haven't you seen Toy Story 2? The Prospector went mad from being trapped inside his box. Now imagine an insane Tharg, with all his power, inside your house. (Is there a Terror Tale in that?)

I'm assuming he was bought from love of the comic. Show that love to the world!

Mikey

If you love him, set him free.

I have a bunch of Star Wars figures never opened, but that's more because I don't have enough space to display them. I do keep packaging however - very useful for resale, but more importantly for storage & moving around.

Nice BUT;

1. They stuck the sticker over one of the Tharg pictures on the box!!!!!

2. I'm not liking the 'rough / old / knackered' leather jacket look.

3. Mine says number 273 on the box, hardly limited edition then....

...son....right...of course..... ;)

I have to say I'm a bit (actually, very) disappointed. His head seems disproportionally small, but that's a minor gripe. My big issue is the fact that the figure seems imbalanced. I can't get it to stand. Which, given that I bought it to proudly display on a shelf, seems pants. The legs are spindly and don't fill out the boots, which are also not flat enough. For £50 that's poor.

COMMANDO FORCES

I see that there are half a dozen up for sale on ebay at the moment, so it looks like the TRUE collectors bought those ones  ::)

Mikey

Apparently TMO has no feet in those boots and the secret is to point the toes slightly out.

Imprsssive, but are the leathers meant to be worn that way?
