I agree it takes too long to get off-planet, but on the plus side, the setting is given some real room to breathe. There's also a refreshing 'everyman' feel to the characters since we haven't yet gotten into any of that pesky Rebellion backdrop. And of course it looks and sounds fantastic, which quite frankly, when you're in the Star Wars universe, is often enough to hold the attention.

I'm...not sure Musk is a PR asset these days.

Reading her obit last night, it felt like I was reading The Crown's wikipedia page. It's interesting that I know much more about the monarchy now than I did before the dramatisation mined her life (with due acknowledgement of the over-dramatised or fictional bits, obv.).

I've throughly enjoyed it so far. It's only about £7 on Amazon, so worth a look!
Totally ordered.

I saw the sealed monochrome Dredd/Death at Collectormania, and it looked great from the outside, at least.

Those bonus episodes, out of nowehere, and two of the best in the run. Bravo Netflix.

Nice link, ty.

I only dabble in authorship so my opinion is almost worthless, but in the plot-heavy stuff I try to put out, when characters attempt to pull a fast one on me, the're snapped back into their rightful place, toot-sweet. I've yet to experience anything metaphysical with my characters. One day, hopefully, I will discover that the myth is true.

That is fab looking, great job. I'll give it a better watch later this weekend.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. If the first episode is anything to go by, this series is gonna' be an absolute blast.
Can't wait to watch it, the trailers have been brilliant.

Das Boot, particularly the extended TV version was simply epic, glorious tension. And that ending was brutal. Such an amazing piece of work.
Amazing. Quite the formative experience when I saw it as a young'un.

For you knowledgeable Gamebook-ers, what would you say is the current state of the art in this genre?

The FBI raided Trump's home in Florida to execute a search warrant and opened his safe.

I have a nasty feeling that, short of a prison conviction prior to the 2024 election, this is going to be a massive boost for him, sadly.  He'll play the martyr card successfully as he's always done.
I think/hope that with Murdoch turning on him, he's done for. Of course, with DeSantis in the wings to take up the throne of most despicable Republican/human, I'm in two minds whether this is a good thing.

I love the comic and liked the first episode of the adaptation. The latter didn't blow my socks off. Between styling and performance, the lead actor is spot-on.

Seems like Steve Bannon is heading for the slammer, and Alex Jones is about to lose a whole lot of money.  It's not all bad news this week.
I wish there was better news than this to celebrate, but I'll take it. Two of the most detestable humans I've ever seen.

Ditto with the enjoying of the play reports. I might have to seek out that Way of the Tiger series, it sounds incredible!
