Hi Fishy and glad to hear your good news. Hope the job hunt goes well. You could always try the Yosser Hughes technique as demonstrated in the link below, lol.

All the best - Paddy

Cheers guys. I spent 12 hours messing around with screens today, setting up some pi's for code club and stuff.  No pain at all.  Since 2008 I've only been able to manage 3 hours and less than one reducing to not at all over the last 12 months.

It's a massive change.  Brilliant.  Just wish I'd found out whilst in work.

And the yosser clip  that was great. I could try that.

My novel was released today and is available in paperback here:

https://www.createspace.com/6129047

and kindle here:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sex-Violets-M-Spencer-ebook/dp/B01E84J9DC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1460614083&sr=8-3&keywords=Sex+and+violets

The paperback will also be available from all of the Amazon website's in a day or two and I shall post the link then. It's not sci-fi in any way, shape or form but I would appreciate it if you would 'encourage' your lovers, partners, colleagues, pets etc to buy a copy. In the meantime, please enjoy the beautiful cover that Mark 'Blam' Blamire (designer of the iconic 'Trainspotting' poster) designed for me.

There's been literally hundreds of original Doctor Who novels published, so it's long past time that a guide was produced for all the books.
Happily one is finally on the way, and yours truly is one of the writers lined up for the book, alongside contributions by past Doctor Who script editors and novelists. :) :) :)

Just had a cracking two days diving at NDAC (a cool 9 degrees at 40 meters, nice!). It's remarkably well stocked, plenty of WW2 armoured vehicles including a Panzer and a British battle field ambulance, half a dozen tug boats and two double decker buses stacked on top of each other, which was great for practising buoyancy. Bloody good day out, chuffed. :)

Handy for measuring sauropods too.

Funny you should say that because theirs an ex-display model of a Brachiosaurus skeleton* at 75 meters, bought for a humble £100 from Oxford I believe. Few have seen it due to that extreme depth, but it's their it is, forever out of my insured depth!

*A replica, of course, and I believe the metal frame did not survive the impact of landing and it is now in three parts, the neck rather unfortunatly for the poor Brachy snapped at the base (snicker while you can!) causing it to face plant into the sediment.

Well there's a post I didn't expect to read when I woke up today.
