Well if Week 1 was a gentle phasing in of quality from Round 1 with some pretty ropey ties, Week 2 hits us right between the eyes with the other end of things. This is the week that if I'd been feeling a little fast and loose with the draw I could have opened with. There's some mouth watering ties and some decisions that will make your eyes water. THIS is what Round 2 is all about...
Intestinauts is a fantastic little - in every way - new thrill, that kicked off in the Regened (the original FCBD Special)- but we forget when we flag strips that transferred from those sprankling new ventures into the Prog 'proper'. I reckon it had a good chance in Round 2... until... well as they say, as we welcome the Wizard from Northampton to the tourney, Alan Moore knows the score, do you?:

Just reply in this thread naming your favourite thrill of these two series at the beginning of your post (or use Bold tags so I can spot it easily) and say what you like about these wonderful stories after that.
Match ends early on the morning of Saturday 29th January and the winner gets a place in Round 3 (of 9!!!).
What on Earth is ALL of this? (https://forums.2000ad.com/index.php?topic=48011.0)
For those that need 'um and can be bothered to follow 'um there's some simple rules (https://forums.2000ad.com/index.php?topic=48011.msg1070150#msg1070150)
Any questions, just ask as ever - and have FUN!
Skizz
Skizz
Skizz.
Skizz.
Poor Intestinauts, so many thrills they could've charmed their way past, but they'd have to be tackling SkIIIzz on its own to have any chance here. It's a fun thrill, but not as good as SkIIzz and certainly not Skizz.
Intestinauts is great fun, visually inventive, and yeah better than Skizz 3. Don't think I've read Skizz 2. I'd happily take more Intestinauts and no more Skizz, however, I'm still voting
Skizz
skizz
Skizz, despite the sequels, which are dreadful.
Last time I read them, SkIIzz was much better than I remembered though interest dropped significantly for SkIIIzz.
First prog I read* was the introduction of Skizz and the first prog I actually bought was the last episode of the original series.
* it's complicated - had a batch of progs given to me and if I put them in order before reading then it would have been my first read.
Skizz
Skizz
A gut punch for the Intestinauts, but Skizz
Tough break for the amusing Intestinauts, but Skizz soothes that tummy ache with some low-fat yogurt.
Intestinauts is good fun, but only Alan Moore could mix Boys from the Blackstuff with ET and make it work. Skizz for me. And the sequels weren't that bad.
Skizz ET but better!
skizz
Intestinauts beats both of the Skizz sequels, yes. But it'd need to be extra special yogurt to smother the original.
Skizz
Intestinauts.
Cheers

10 bonus points for Link Prime there! Not sure how that helps in ths kind of tournament, but there you go.
Intestinauts is a top modern thrill but Skizz was my first Alan Moore.
Intestinauts is fun but this round goes to Skizz for me
Got to be Skizz, but Intestinauts is a good thrill too.
Skizz
Intestinauts is a lot of fun but I think that first Moore Skizz story wins it here.
Last day. We know how this one is going but can Skizz beat Anderson's record for number of votes for a single thrill? You have today to get um in and I'll tell you in the morning.
VOTING CLOSED
Anderson didn't hold the record for the most votes in a heat for long todays winner has topped that. I mean I could pretend that there is some mystery about who that is but, well come on. Intestinauts got some love and many will welcome it back next year, but it got a tough draw here pure and simple. The question that Skizz will face in later rounds will the more mixed reputation of the later stories drag down the love for the first book? Time will tell as it is
Skizz
is the new holder of the record and flippin' neck is into Round 3
Pity that these two had to face each other in this round, Intestinauts is a great new thrill and I hope for me
I did feel sorry for Intestinatus* as it is a great strip, but it's not Skizz book I. And in defence of the later books, Jim Baikie's art is always great, but as a writer he was no Alan Moore (which can't really be considered a criticism as even modern day Alan Moore isn't 1980s Alan Moore).
* I'm going to leave that typo as it makes it look like a chapter of Space Marines.
