Help! / Re: Fitted Kitchens

Quote from: "ThryllSeekyr"The dining areae should always be outside, preferably in the backyard under a little roof or awning.

No eating of any kind should be allowed in doors.

This rudices the likely hood of rats, mice and conckroaches.

As out door areas would be easiler to clean.

It's pretty obvious you don't live in the same climate as most of the rest of us here.

I recognised the Waterhouse one straight away. Thought the Klimt-inspired pictures looked familiar but couldn't place them.

Could be a Bad Company story. Kano, perhaps?

Bah. Copy and paste that url into your address bar. It won't work any other way.

Alternatively, have a trawl through the World Of Spectrum archives here...

Has "DROKKIN' AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE" ever been used on the cover of a Christmas prog?

Quote from: "ThryllSeekyr"Him and Aston Kustner.

As the two male leads --as I forget their names.-- in a lived action 'Battle of the Planets' film.

Dear God, please don't ever let this come to pass!

Not to mention snot or vomit.

Most versions of the flu I've ever had have involved some kind of revolting bodily fluids. (No, not those other ones...)

That's another thing... There were lots of references to people having a temperature but there was also a noticeable absence of sweat.

Quote from: "Mardroid"Most recent, not original:

QuoteThe BBC has made three TV versions of John Wyndham's classic, the most recent being in 1981

Yep. Noticed that after I'd posted, but left it too long to be able to edit it. I've seen the film version from the sixties, and heard a bit of a radio version, but didn't know of any other versions on television. Haven't read the original book yet.

Quote from: "Thursday"And as if by magic, the Beeb declare their next remake...

Say it with triffids

The original version was made in 1981?!?  I don't half feel old sometimes. Of course, that means I was only six years old when I saw it the first time, but it still doesn't seem like 27 years ago.
