Film & TV / Re: Tennant Quits as Who
03 November, 2008, 04:11:44 PM
Quote from: "Uncle Umpty"Tennent is suggesting the maybe Billy Piper could take over as Who and has also hinted that he could return at a later date.

I just saw that story on MSN, but he suggested no such thing. Some reporter asked if Piper would make a good Doctor Who and he replied "Why not?".

I would imagine that if he did reappear it would be as that human-beingified Doctor that's currently shacked up with Billie Piper in the parallel universe place.
Only problem with the last episode was that I guessed it would probably end like that before I'd even seen the first episode. The fact that I watched the whole thing anyway must be proof of how well written it was.
The only other thing I can remember seeing him in is I Am Weasel, which was originally part of the Cow and Chicken cartoon anyway.

It's probably not someone who posts regularly on here. I can't imagine someone who'd do something like that being around on here for any amount of time without their  psycholooneymentalcaseness* quickly becoming apparent.

Off Topic / Re: A Bus Campaign worth donating to...?

Pointless waste of money if you ask me, and I'm pretty certain I've seen Scientology adverts on buses which use "think for yourself" as a slogan.

Meh!

Meh, I say!

Dunno why everybody else is getting so enthusiastic, but I'm going to stay pessimistic about it 'til I actually see some proper footage.

The bridge has far too many pointless flashy lights, (which would be okay if they were lots of different colours but they aren't), and Spock doesn't look right to me at all. His eyebrows are rubbish! So there!

I couldn't see it either, so I tried saving it to my computer, which worked. Here it is to save the rest of you the hassle.

This trailer is a tiny bit spoilery about something that happens in it, (so don't watch if you want everything to be a surprise).  Listen to what the two people say towards the end.

Hmm.... That blog entry isn't there anymore. It definitely was last night.

There's something very odd going on here, possibly of a freaky supernatural nature.

Welcome to the board / Re: Wotcha

Quote from: "Brownish"Thanks all for the welcome.

Godpleton: Sounds reasonable. Expect a really disturbing photograph soon, as evidence of all three...

Judge Manson: I took the Mutant Detection Test and it turned blue. I'm a bit confused. Does that mean I am or I'm not?

I think it means you're a genetically modified clone.
