For extra bonus points, can you post a link to that Superman cover from the 60/70s, where Superman was confined to a wheelchair and chased by the press?  I saw it in a book of Superman covers years ago, but no-one believes me.

wasn`t there a naughty movie at the time called `I am curious (yellow)?`?
Why only 24 hours? Did she have something very white to do the day after tomorrow?

You see, it's clever because no-one is actually staring at her.

That's one of my favourite covers of all time, right up there with the issue of 'Supermans pal, Jimmy Olsen' where he travels back in time tot he Roman Empire and is at the colliseum. Clad in a toga and strumming a lyre, a group of screaming girls surround him. "Wow!" Jimmy thinks "Now I know what Ringo feels like!". The tagline is "He's the Ginger Beatle of 50 B.C."

Yup... caused a huge sensation of the time with a indeceny trail and bannings everywhere (I think it was the first time you see actual sex in an non-porno art film). Although the sex was hidden (clothed couple do it in a tree) and the rest of the film totally boring

Thanks for bringing Black Lois to our attention, Gary - I really enjoyed it. "Class" indeed!

There was a sequel to I am Curious (Yellow) called I am Curious (Blue)

(presumably the inspiration for the title of the rock ballet by The Fall, "I Am Kurious, Oranj", even though it dealt with an entirely different set of themes).
STRIKE !!!

...which in turn inspired The Curious Orange from Lee & Herring's old TV show.

That Black Lois cover the best thing I've ever seen in my whole life!

Well, just for you Floyd, here's a song from the latest Steve Earle album:

Oh Condi Condi beggin? on my knees
Open up your heart and let me in wontcha please
Got no money but everybody knows
I love you Condi and I?ll never let you go
Sweet and dandy pretty as can be
You be the flower and I?ll be the bumble bee
Oh she loves me oops she loves me not
People say you?re cold but I think you?re hot

Oh, Condi, Condi
Oh, Condi, Condi

Oh Condi, Condi I?m talkin? to you girl
What?s it gonna hurt come on give me a whirl
Shake your body now let me see you go
One time for me Oh Condi I love you so
Skank for me Condi show me what you got
They say you?re too uptight I say you?re not
Dance around me spinnin? like a top
Oh Condi Condi Condi don?t ever stop

Oh Condi Condi Can?t you hear me call
I?m standin? in the street outside your garden wall
Pocketful of money belly full of wine
Condi in my heart and romance on my mind
Listen to me Condi don?t be afraid
I come here tonight to chase your blues away
I?ll never hurt you I?ll treat you right
Oh Condaleeza won?t you come out tonight

Pretty little Condi precious as can be
Bet you never had another lover like me
