It only seems dissapointing now. Once it's back and we're reading it, it'll feel like it never went away.

And yes, I'd much rather this than some fill-in artists drafted in like in the old days.

Please say The Connection is going to be included? Origins would really lose something if it was left out, IMO.

I'd be very surprised if there was anyone on this board who didn't know about Spaced, Thyrllseeker. God only knows how many times I've heard repeated the fact that it referenced Strontium Dog.

I suspect that this will just include Dragonheist and Time Killer - then a third volume, including Tomb of Terror through to Slaine the King and the last of the b/w stories, would round off that era for Slaine nicely. Then of course we'll probably see another Horned God reprint, and I doubt much of the stuff after that will ever be collected.

That's my fault - it was Dark Jimbo, not you, who thought this was the case.

Was it?! News to me.

Sorry if I somehow gave the impression this was going to be the case, but I've only ever been expecting the Final Solution to make it into the final colour GN. (Oh, and then collecting Wagner's new Stronty Dog stories in further TPBs would also go down well).

It's quite funny that Amazon, Forbidden Planet and other book sites are more informative about upcoming trades than the 2k book site itself.*

*That's not a dig, Indigo, you do a grand job.

This has rapidly become the best thread of the year so far. Well done all.

His letter is a good one although it does tread some familiar ground. His deliberate wrong footing of self finale was seen from Malta but all in all itâ??s decent, workmanlike stuff.

Huzzah! Faint praise in the eyes of some, perhaps, but seeing as I was expecting one of Button's merciless savagings for my modest effort, I'm well chuffed with that.

I've begun avoiding the obvious route of just reviewing the thrills one by one and trying hard to come up with more interesting points to make.
Apoligies for the obvious finale, but a joke always goes down well, I thought, and I was determined to get printed (so that I could finally appear on Letters Entertain You, of course). Letter of the Week was just a bonus.

Off to read my free graphic novel I go!

I have to say, knowing that I may be subject to Button's merciless reviews has been making me put a lot more thought and effort into the few letters I've drafted since this epic project began, rather than rattling off any old embarassing tosh like I used to do (I was young, and foolish, and desired free stuff).

You're raising the bar for all of us, Buttonman!

Your groats are safe, Button. A lovely six letters for you to get your teeth into, one of them, funnily enough (from the board's own Grant Groggans) bemoaning the lack of an input page!
