It it was amazing; probably the best doctor who episode (old and new) that I've seen. The stuff when John Smith is deciding whether to become the doctor again is heartbreaking. Wonderful, wonderful stuff.

It'd be awesome if they gave Paul Cornell the reigns...that could give us some good stuff

Peter, the problem I had with the whole CBB fiasco was that Channel 4 were quite obviously using racism and racist abuse to draw viewers in. Whether you believe or do not believe that some of the contestants were behaving in a racist way (and Ofcom's fairly comprehesnive report seems to suggest they were) there surely can be no denying that Channel 4 was highlighting any signs of racial tensions and effectively reducing racist abuse and bullying to entertain the viewers. That's why CBB was a disgraceful program and that's why Channel 4 were rightly made to apologise.

I enjoyed it, looking forward to next week's episode. I liked the parrells with Kingdom of the Blind when 'John Smith' was using his 'other world' experiences for the book.

A weird question, what was the song played during the penulitmate montage of monsters on Doctor Who Confidential? Was a electronic dance number. Its been bugging me all week.

Man how bad has Parky got? Actually bringing the merchandise onto the set? That's brazen, really brazen.

And yeah, John Simms looks like one creepy mutha; The Sound Of Drums cannot come soon enough. Also tbh, I doubt there's a massive head scratching twist when it comes to The Master...after all they played the Daleks and Cybermen relatively straight.

"Couldn't believe they did the Temporal shift escape thing again. OK they'll never totally kill off the Daleks but that was plain lazy. They've also written themselves into a corner with just one Dalek left, but no doubt the Xerox of Skaro will save the day. "

I really can't see how they can bring the daleks back without Davros now. Dalek Kahn just isn't a strong enough character to bring them back believably. Hopefully, they'll leave that for series 5 though.

Film & TV / Dr Who in Radio Times (SPOILERS)
18 April, 2007, 02:54:26 PM

YES THERE ARE SPOILERS

Anyone seen the new radio times with the half human-half dalek hybrid? Any thoughts? From the looks of things this could be either really cool or really, really, really bad. Or of course it could be an elaborate April Fools.

"Martha seems better than Rose - but we are still at the "Girls best gay pal" stage of the relationship, rather than the "girl and guy in love" stage that I fear we'll inevitably gravitate towards. "

RTD has said that Martha's story will be one of unrequited love.

Lol, oh dear god RTD is a madman. Still I'm enjoying the new series; a stronger start than series 2

I'm confused by the concept of the Union; that doesn't really seem to square with how Mega City Two was presented in the comics i.e. their neutrality in the Apoc. War
