Thanks.

....and this is one I started for the Dredd competition. Same story - finished it to 80%, then suddenly lost all enthusiasm for it. Came back to it now, 18ish months later to finally finish it. One of those where the final inks and colours seemed to destroy all of the energy of the original sketch and I had to restart it from scratch multiple times. For some reason I like it much better in just black and white - might go back and take another stab at adding colours later.

Oh the Dredd is superb Radiator. There's so many nice little details that remind me of what the sub-Hewlett Droids went for but without feeling forced as their's often did. The flowers, the eagle's poor old head - just so great and as you say full of energy.

Welcome back, Radiator! Lovely to see new works from you!

With Facebook coming up with a weird new emoji, Steve Green (I think) suggested there should be a Judge Death version.

Just for fun, here's my quick ink and felt pen attempt.

Here's the plain ink version if anyone else would like a go at colouring him.

Also, I can't remember if I posted this. A friend of mine in Aberdeen was feeling a bit down after recovering from an illness, and he's both a Dredd fan, and a Nightmare on Elm Street fan.

To cheer him up I drew him this - DREDDY KRUEGER!

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.

Many congratulations to Neil! Well done that man.

And for posterity, my failed attempts this time around........

Cheers
Simon.

When I die, I want to die like my grandfather who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car.

Old age is the Lord's way of telling us to step aside for something new. Death's in case we didn't take the hint.

Thanks guys,  much appreciated!  :)

Wow Andy, Just wow. I mean that Satanus one is a bit bloody special - least ways you think it is until you see that Nemesis and Torq piece. Just plain stunning!

Andy Lambert

Thanks, Colin - I've been keeping busy during my furlough, but I'm back to work this week so that's my creativity done with for now...

Bolt-01

The Nemesis piece is astounding. Glad to see you've been busy!

Andy Lambert

Thanks, Bolt - the need to fund driving lessons was a pretty good motivator...
