You're a dark horse, Boots.

I'll be backing that one - looks great!
An old-school, no-bullshit, boys-own action/adventure comic reminiscent of the 2000ads and Eagles and Warlords and Battles and other glorious black-and-white comics that were so, so cool in the 70's and 80's - Buy the hardback Christmas Annual!

Wow that does look great - I've gone in on that. This thread is starting to cost me!

Kickstarter for #28 (TWENTY-BLOODY-EIGHT!) is now live!

http://kck.st/3AHHnaJ

you should definitely try this one!

The days are counting down on the PARAGON kickstarter and we still need a few backers.
If you've enjoyed The 77, or Blazer, or Brawler, or Zarjaz, or Sentinel, you should definitely give this a go. At only £4 for the latest issue of the action adventure anthology, it won't break the bank and it's a bloody good comic!

Sentinel Issue 8, To Be A Hero, still on Kickstarter.

'Issue Eight of Sentinel is a masterclass in fun, inventive, exciting, kick ass comic book story telling that reads like a cross between Mark Millar's Superior and peak era Pat Mills. It's the kind of book that makes comic creators like me green with envy.' - Stu Perrins

Beast Hunting Battle Badgers is now on KS if you fancy a collected edition:

Did anyone else get this (PJ and Barrington hopefully) - mine lnaded today and bloody hell its a thing of beauty. Not read a word of it yet but already excited about sharing it with the kids - who are big fans of both Phoenix (well the boy child still is) and Podkin and Ukki novels (if you've not checked them out do) so this will be RIGHT up their streets.

Fantastic stuff!

IndigoPrime

I've no idea what it'll be like, but I threw a few quid at Josh Spiller's revised Sinovore KS: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/713805091/sinavore-1-only-2

Two quid gets you the comic, there are sharer packs, and the thing is only just over the line with 48hrs to go—but could probably do with a few more backers.

IndigoPrime

Beast Hunting Battle Badgers looks good. I wish I'd spotted that at the time—would have backed it.

NapalmKev

I backed Beast Hunting Battle Badgers and it is a lovely book.

I also got a piece of original art and a metal badge as part of my pledge. Very nice!

Cheers

Still waiting on mine, but I'm excited to hear they're looking so good!
IP, I'm sure you can get a copy somewhere if you really want it - drop Steve Sims a line on FB and ask if he has any left over? Worst case, I have the full run as individual issues.

You're a dark horse, Boots.

Daveycandlish

I backed the Badgers but mine hasn't landed yet - hopefully sometime this week as I'm really looking forward to it

I have my copy of BHBB and it is a lovely looking book. Hope any of you guys who've not read it before enjoy it!

I've just had another comic from KS: Earthworks, by Martin Hayes and Alie Gallagher. It's a one shot horror comic and a really good one: a lot is implied and very little shown, and it's so much more effective for that. Kickstarter is a pretty good place for comics at the moment, if you're able to take the time to sift through what's on offer.

Right now I'm reading Shaman Kane, which Bolt recommended to me earlier on this thread. It's a cool read, and I'm really grateful he took the time to point me in it's direction.
