This forum has suddenly been blocked at work. Some sites (like facebook and youtube) are always blocked, some are a bit random (blogs for example), but 2000adonline has always been fine. I often have it open in the background for a quick browse if things are quiet between calls, but on Saturday I clicked refresh and it had suddenly found it's way on to the banned list.

Been dreading a bollocking all day for breach of IT policy or somesuch, but nothing else seems to have come of it.

More flying ants?? That's two lots in your neighbourhood, a week apart. I'm still waiting to see if any more hatch in Cardiff this year, or if that's our lot.

Flying ants? Flippi neck.

I get the Luas to and from work in Dublin and every day when I sit down on it I end up with ants crawling all over me. Either there is an infestation on the Luas and they are inside the seats, or they are seeping from my body in place of sweat...

I bought a copy of Casino Royale on DVD for a quid and it looked to be perfect.I was really looking forward to watching it just now but the DVD player just rejects it .

It happens. You may have some luck if you try it in a different DVD player. Try it in your computer for one thing. I got a DVD at Christmas that wouldn't play until I put it in the side of a flat screen DVD TV.

Anyway, I'm off on a week's holiday. But I spent all of Saturday, some of Sunday (my son's christening) and half of yesterday on the phone.

And I need to go to a meeting at 3pm today!

I'll get the time back, but it's hard to explain to the children.

OH, and I watched the Clash of the Titans remake this morning. But, applying my patneted Godzilla scale, I thought it was jolly good stuff.

I just invested in some magazine boxes in order to tidy the piles of progs and megs on my desk and I cannot find Meg 298 anywhere at the moment. Got the GN but not the meg. Maybe I'll find it when doing the progs.

I bought one can out of curiosity and against my better judgement but my God that was the most spectacularly revoltingly vile drink i have ever tasted.First of all it tasted like Dr Peppers or something cherry flavored but then the taste of it changed to being very bitter rather like something that is completely laced with chemicals and sweeteners and god knows what else.Plus it has left a ligering bitter aftertaste.It smelt chemically as soon as i opened the can.

I had one small taste with a certain amount of reluctunce and trepidation and poured the rest down the plughole.

Yeeuucchh.

I put all of my washing into one bundle, enveloped by my bed linen. I carried it down the stairs like a tumescent child in swaddling cumstains. This fresh girth was compliant with my own, making my ascent most precarious as I could not see far ahead.

Also I may not cast an eye over my hotmail account.
