It was prog 1434, Dante had a kilt and dyed ginger hair! The story was called Primal Scream which saw Dante and a very naked Lauren robbing a casino ran by genetically enhanced animals. It was a little detour in the Pirate Dante arc...
Cheers Pete, I'm going to have to dig that story out. Grud help me, I'll probably end up going back to the first story and re-reading the lot. :D

And great John Burns artwork in that story each character a portrait in its self!

Chris Weston's amazing Megazine Cover is up. Check out his 3D lawmaster!

Amazing, indeed.  We should thank our lucky stars that Chris Weston continues to bestow his talents on us, both of the drawn and written variety.  The Meg interview was a great read; can't wait for part two.

Great stuff as usual, Pete.

JUDGE BURNS

Great work yet again Pete.  Thanks for sharing all this with us thrill seekers.   :D

Cheers fellas! I've got another two articles waiting in the wings and hopefully some rather exciting news about the blog. Watch this space...

The blog, which was recently described by an avid fan as 'so sycophantic that you have to wipe your screen down after a viewing' has been updated with this weeks cover. This meant not only did I get the chance to kiss the arses of Simon Davis but Simon Parr and a bloke called Kevin too!

That comment's a bit harsh, Pete; soory to hear you've been getting some grief.  You might be a bit more enthusiastic about some covers than I'd be, but then I don't have to rely on the goodwill of the artists involved.  Don't take the negative attitude to heart; you do an outstanding job and your blog is widely loved and respected (and you know it).

Where's the 'kissing-arse' icon when you need it?

Pete Wells

Ha! It's fine Ming, it was a joke comment by the lovely, yet slightly unhinged, Buttonman in his excellent Letters Thread. Firmly tongue in cheek, if you excuse the pun!

ming

Don't worry, I'm sure someone out there agrees with him

Some people will complain about anything. Ignore the dickheads, it's a tremendous blog.

Oh sorry, just read your other comment Pete. Ignore MY comment! :)

Pete largely does these with full cooperation of the artists - if he were then to upload it and say "JON DAVIS HUNT CAN'T DRAW CORRECTLY PROPORTIONED TEETH" (for example) I expect the aforemented Hunt would then be unwilling to collaborate. Any sycophantism on his part is not only refreshing (given how CURMUDGEONLY us squaxx can be) but necessary.

Basically,

I HEART PETE WELLS BLOCK.

Amendment:

Don't joke about these things Pete you're breaking our heartses - but observe how keen we are to rush to your defence!
