And on another point, why is something done under torturous conditions, funny?

Carlsborg Expert

This may not seem it but, seriously, hmmm?

Conexus

no offence, but what the bloody hell are you wittering on about man?

Carlsborg Expert

Simple animated cartoons boy.

Simple.

Conexus

could you give an example and explain why you are so pissed (and i think the potential double meaning carries weight here) off by it ?

Carlsborg Expert

accusations are liable sonny.

I wonder if some one who wants to kill a thread so quickly could be a reliable judge of that thread in the first place.

I am in the chatroom if you want to dis-cuss this? Con.

Conexus

no, not really, because I do belive you are drunk or high at the moment due to some of your recent postings

Carlsborg Expert

Oh right.....examples.

South Park...!

Carlsborg Expert

The work that goes into animating such things like Postman Pat to Manga epics.Con.

And I have to say you are the one who is inflaming the *intoxication* issue?

Jared Katooie

There is a gap in the market that is filled by these. It takes deceptively little work in this computerised age to produce the works of which you speak though costs are much higher.

I think animation has a real value for presenting worlds beyond the reach of ordinary filmed comedy or drama etc.

Bico

Perceptions of the medium drive potential talent away, though.  It's a peer/career thing.

LARF

Bugger what the hell's going on in this thread.

If this is what you mean I think they're better than the bloody movies...

Carlsborg Expert

Sort of Larf.

More simplified form.

The fact that animation can be done on our own computers was interesting me.

I wondered whether it was a growing fad.

Or was it going to be too laborious.

LARF

Flash and everything, ah right like this you mean...

Carlsborg Expert

Yeah.

Bang on.

Its seems animaters have to find the suffrage that is lost in computer aided animation.

So to challenge themselves they work on MORE, simpler animation with the minutes the have spare.

I, think these independent animation cells have every right to skyrocket, but agree with the old addage,"too much cake" on this count.

So they will be forced to evolve for specific demographics. That is when I will become very interested in them.

I need to get on my photo-shop more....
