Next years I'm going to cosplay Kuno from the Ranma series at Otakon. This'll require me having to make a hakama. I just need to know whats a good material to make these from.

(b) I was hoping it would be something on those lines
(c) Because they cost anywhere between $60 and $100. With a pattern I can make a pair for about 1/4 that.
