hello, I have just read my first 2000 AD comic/graphic novel, which was Rogue Trooper Future of war.  I was very impressed with the quality of story telling and felt really engaged with the character.  As such I would to purchase the complete Rogue Trooper graphic novels.  So could you please tell me the correct chronological order.
I was told the following is correct:
Vol 1 Future of War contains 228-232,234-243,246-258,260-262,265
Vol 2 Fort Neuro -
Vol 3 Eye of Traitor contains 311-349
Vol 4 Ends of Nu Earth contains 350-355,358-392

but I see on Amazon there are another four graphic novels with Rogue in them.  If you could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you for your time, regards, Rob

There's also a very good newstand reprint of Rogue Material just gone on sale for ?3, and the upcoming computer game, natch.

The making of the forthcoming Rogue Trooper Game (if you like that kind of thing).

AFAIK, the only other Rogue stuff you'll have missed by this point is the "Hit" series.
This hasn't been collected so far, but is probably the least essential material of the lot.
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

Noisy's list is spot-on, and if you want opinions on the other Rogue books, I've just posted mini-reviews of the volumes 4 & 5 in a thread further down the board.

If you enjoyed what you've read so far, I've absolutely no hesitation in recommending the other books. The quality of presentation & reproduction just gets better, and the stories more wild & fun.

Glad to see that older material presented well is clicking with new audiences, and if you ever want more recommendations on what to try next, I'm sure everyone here would be more than happy to offer their advice.

Oh, and there are three prose novels starring Rogue Trooper.

Hey Rob, let us know what you think about Rogue, be interesting toknow what someone who didn't read it first 20 years agon thinks :p

Avoid any RT published Titan Books you might see listed or second hand, as they were incomplete versions (nothing wrong with them though).

And it was once possible to get the David Gibbons 're-imagining' War Machine in a hardback by Heaby Metal/Tundra, though I wouldn't say that was essential.  Nor would I say Book 6 in the Titan Range is which collects the Hit One and the 1991 Rogue Trooper Annual.

All three of those books are post Gerry Finlay Day the original writer on the series, and don't do it for me.

Sorry if that's added confusion, believe me just stick with the five DC/Rebellion books :p

Dai

I recently ordered RT: Future of War, Fort Neuro and two of the novels...

Now, I have to find a way to get my hands on EE 1.5....not even Ebay has that...

The Amstor Computer

Why not just order it direct from Rebellion?

And those prose novels:

I haven't read any of these books, but since Gordon has written some of Rogue's more recent adventures in the prog, his book might be worth a punt.
