Didn't know if this amazing series has been on the forum yet?

it's on netflix and is unlike a lot of stuff i've watched recently:

ie. it's upbeat, optimistic etc.

just finished the last episode lasdt night [season 3]

I tried to get my x3 nephews into comics via 2th / asterix / tintin and complete arcs of amazing spid.  green lantern etc.

no joy - they're sticking to the world of ps5

but then i had a thought the other day:

If i remember correctly, comics cost me around 75p when i first got into them and they're £4.00 approx at the mo'

Either a young person is getting them via, hand-me-down / parent buying or pocket money.

it must be hard to discover something great when it has a hefty price-tag attached?

and i still cant believe the top 300 comics number 1 was only bought by 78,080 people [approx] in the world [icv2 diamond]

Oh, and i went to the xl centre to a comic-con a few years ago and wasn't able to buy any comics there

hoping free comic book day and digital editions help bring in a new generation?

made one up last night [not very funny, got a couple of short sniggers]

In an effort  to alleviate my ongoing anxieties ; I decided to set myself some outlandish tasks:

So I went parachuting with a can of baked beans in my hand

Had a fight against mike Tyson with lentils in my boxing gloves

And swam in a cage with sharks, whilst having mushy peas in my swimming trunks...

And so, I realised...

Seldom witty, I was over at my mum's with a few cousins.  A great aunt remarked how she'd recently seen a clairvoyant and he'd told her; in a past life she'd been a Master-baker
Immedietly i responded, perhaps you misheard him?!

My old land-lady and i have been at a loss for around 3 years unable to work out the film we watched:-

Punky looking girl asks a bloke in her bed in the morning, "whatcha want for breakfast? A little fuck on toast?!"

Possibly a Mike Leigh film? [film quote nowhere to be found on the net?!]

Just to say if you ever buy or rent films on google play - DON'T but the hd version

Bought the sd version of tomorrowland [one of my favourite kids films last night] and it still looked like 4k on my telly [saved me a few quid too!]

As I get older and the brain fades: could someone please tell me, is there an iain banks book with a musician that climbs into their instrument to play it?
