Lovers Breakdown by Seasurfer is well worth a listen if you're partial to something with a hint of goth. Out late last year on Reptile Music and based in Hamburg.

The soundtrack from "First Man" composed by Justin Hurwitz. Stunning, moving and inspirational. My favourite all time film as well.

Mostly to my neighbours shouting at their kids and arguing with each other, thanks to COVID-19.

This weeks ever strange commute on the deserted railways to the hospital had a soundtrack of:

Interpol - Turn on the bright lights

Nick Cave - Tender Prey

Elvis Costello - Blood and Chocolate

Returning home after a particually grim week on the wards, Interpol yesterday were just what the Therapist ordered...

King Curtis - Live at Fillmore West. There's some cracking covers on there.

A record I was introduced to by Withnail and I (despite it being an anachronism in the film.) Suspect I'm not alone there.

Ocean Grove - Flip-Phone Fantasy.  Awesome metal album with a great 90s vibe.  Very varied too.  Just brilliant.  Album of the year.  Guaranteed.

Drab Monarchy - a goth band who are surprisingly awesome.  The sound very 80s.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps feat. Tom Petty, Steve Winwood & Prince

Wow that becomes a wonderfully different thing the moment Prince comes on stage!

Been giving the expanded edition of Jerry Goldsmith's score for Star Trek: The Motion Picture a good spin.
There's lots of out takes, alternate takes and cues that never made the finished score and it's simply one of the best things Goldsmith ever did and is simply joyous to the ears!

Also been giving the first two Iron Maiden albums a revisit- 40 years since their debut, wow!!!

Last but not least, Sheryl Crow in full on Tammy Wynette mode with her album Feels Like Home.
