Guns & Roses: Sweet Child of Mine...

She's got eyes of the bluest skies,
And toothpaste on her brain

Joe Jackson's "Got The Time", or more specifically, Anthrax's cover of it - my mate misheard the line "Ticking in my head" as "Tickling my bread".
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

Hehehe. I remember it as:

"Got the thyme, chick-chick-chicken in my head"

that catchy but very short Blur song, SOng 2:

I got my head checked
By a trembochet

It`s supposed to be jumbo jet, but it sure sounds like trembochet to me. No I don`t know what trembochet means (device for checking Damon Albarn`s head I suppose)

+++ NECRO-POST +++

Rather than reply to Jim's misheard lyrics post on the food thread, derailing it even more, I've dug this bugger up. :)

I shall add to the list...

Billy Idol - Eyes Without a Face (French has been roughly translated appropriately)

[Cul au sujet de visage] Arse about face
[Cul au sujet de visage] Arse about face
[Cul au sujet de visage] Arse about face
Got no human grace, you're arse about face

And The Human League - The Sound of the Crowd

Put your hand in a party wave
Arse around

My love has got no money,
He's got a strong valise
My love has got no money
He's a drag queen from Belize

Freddie Mercury - Living on my own

Mean old lady, Mean old lady
I get so lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, yeah
Got to beat some git on the head

Peter Kay did a lot of stuff with these when he was starting out

"with my man she runs..."

I think you'll find that's a double mondegreen, because I'm pretty sure the lyric is "With my mind she runs."

Cheers!

The Zig and Zag guys used to do  a morning-radio spot on this very subject, and it was drowning in classics.  E.g.

The Chrstians:
"When will there be a hard vest
For the worms?"

Shit! It's Jumbo Jet? I always thought it was Damon Albarn getting his head shaved by some bloke called 'Itchy Mochay'.
Nobody warned me I would be so awesome.
