See, kids? That's why you should've stuck with DVD like Stan.
That would have made my purchase of a 3d tv a waste.

Well I am getting both! Blu-Ray 3D for my parents or friends' 3D TV, Blu-Ray for my home screen and DVD for my laptop whenever I am away or on train! Fùck yes.

MR. ELIMINATOR

Of all the great quotes they are only using one on the front? Please don't let that be the cover. What about that great one that Goaty scanned from a newspaper with tons of quotes and 4 and 5 stars. That would make people think "hmm, maybe I should check that out afterall"

"Awesome" I am pretty sure could be found on the front of a resident evil DVD.

This is the last chance the film has and they are gonna blow it!

Looks like the DVD will be simply 'Dredd'

I'll be straight up and say that is a poor effort at the cover.

You've got to think the turquoise sky is just dodgy photography of the box. The poster looked great, so I doubt they'd change it for the DVD.

The Blue Ray will give you the option of 3D or standard Blue Ray. But as I have a 3D TV then best of both worlds.

The original dark poster is damn good and I'm unsure as to the reason why they've changed it?
I don't think it is dodgy photography as they've thrown in a flare effect to the side of the gun.
They've went to a lot of trouble to make a cool poster look really bad and unfortunately it looks to be genuine!!
Entertainment in Video....what is the fucking deal with this???
I thought we'd get a cover similar to the customised one.

Goaty

How about this? Maybe not good for new audience that not see the film!

That fan made one looks like there was much more effort put into it and looks a lot better for it.

The Americans are getting DREDD 3D on Blu-ray before us this time, they're getting it on the 8th of January.

Well, thats the (possible) answer right there. Entertainment in Video certainly have a bog standard vibe about them, at times.

MR. ELIMINATOR

Do special editions usually come out on initial release?

Spikes

They used to do, until the companies involved realised they was missing a trick,  ;)
