Good stuff! Like the bit were they put the Empire state building in to work out the size of the blocks.



Was any American landmarks/famous buildings ever left in the finished city shots?

The ESB looks too big in that picture - From the movie I got the impression that the low-level stuff was regular skyscrapers with multi-level roadways, and the Mega Blocks towering above them. I'd expect the ESB to come in above the general skyline but maybe a third the height off a megablock.

although I do remember doing a quick calculation (sad, I know) when the paramedic said "floors 1-200" and then Dredd says "we're a kilometre up" - which makes 5 metres per floor - seems like a lot. I'd have liked them to say "floors 1-1000" to make what I'd consider a mega block!

The Empire State has around 100 floors and is not even half a kilometre (381 metres).
