hm albion and raggedman.  raggedman, your piece reminds me of old Magic the Gathering card art! 

Honestly all the pieces I liked were great, very different styles, it made it hard to choose    Surprised anyone liked my piece, guess we are our own worst critic.  Thanks for the votes.

Tough choices all around, and excellent entries from everyone this month!!

Christ, this is hard. It's been an absolutely outstanding month. 

1.  Hoagy 1 - Land of the Young. It looks exactly like a dream I once had, essentially Sláine in Dragonheist, but painted and animated in this style.  And I love Wickermen.

2.   SKD - Land of the Young.  Lovely.  I love crisp, clean pen-and-ink work - it reminds me of the artwork from Fighting Fantasy books (In particular, The Warlock of Firetop Mountain and Forest of Doom).  And I still love Wickermen.

3.  Mimikeke - Really captures the looming nature of the cliffs and the sense of threat. 


SPECIAL MENTIONS:

Well, all of them, really.  The only reason I didn't include the city scapes is probably because I'm a country boy really and love wilderness-style ones.  The city scapes, and the Cursed Earth township, are amazing though.
It breaks my heart not to include the scum sea one too.  As I said, a really, really tough decision.
