Have ordered this beauty from HLJ: https://www.hlj.com/1-72-scale-zoids-red-horn-kbyzd030r

Won't be the same as the old motorized 80's version, but looks like a fun build.

Barrington Boots

Oh, that is magnificent. <checks bank balance>
You're a dark horse, Boots.

I'm now going to refer you to my wife for showing me this. YOU explain to her why I must have this. ;)

I'll have to dig out my original (I doubt the electrics would still work though).  Also have Zoidzilla somewhere.  My favourite one is probably still my first though - the clockwork Spiderzoid.

They're probably OK, unless you left a battery in there :) I've got a few of the originals, but got a pile of Zoids from the early 2000s re-release, with some nice colour variants (Black redhorn, Blue Krark etc.)

Rara Avis

I bought this today - I just had to have it:

Hawkmumbler

Are we talking Spinal Tap scale here, or just how big is that scary, cool-looking, I really-really-really-want-one-of-them-mother-funters?

Rara Avis

In reality about 6 inches .. in my heart? Inestimable.

They also have the bile, atomic blast and burning versions for the same ultra reasonable price of €35.00

If you really really want to treat yourself there's all out attack version for €120.00 <whispers intensely> his mouth lights up

The originals were childhood favorites too - Spinosaurus, Hellrunner and Redhorn being the three that I had most fondness for. All lost in the sands of time.

I challenge any of you - any of you - to watch this promo video and not purchase one immediately:

What on earth did I just watch?
You're a dark horse, Boots.

Barrington Boots

My wife is going to be more annoyed about this than the Zoids I think,
You're a dark horse, Boots.

That promo always makes me chuckle.

Also very amused by the "Do not eat" on the box when I opened it this morning.

Rara Avis

€15.62 for a pot noodle - what am I missing?
