I'm digging this encouragement.

Not yet! It's a full bleed page with laminate speech bubbles, so I'm not really sure what I want to do with it with it. I should just get it up and be happy but the indecision is strong here! I think it looks nicer without the laminate...

I haven't got that Henry Flint page framed yet either.

Correcting myself here, as Enrique Romero does indeed sometimes appear credited as Enric Romero so consider these words eaten.

I'm tempted to take a punt at one of these but I'm still in dither mode - if I'm buying a Carlos Stront page and spending that much, I want one that's perfect. Box Paton is no Wulf sadly...

This is great, looking forward to meeting you guys!

I'm definitely not going for a run though.

Big fan of Romero (whose name is spelt wrong on this KS page) and his work on Axa and Modesty Blaise but this doesn't seem a good campaign: aside from the expected high shipping and misspelling of the artists name the gimmick covers are awful, and any KS that runs 'nude variant' covers is something that should be avoided imo regardless.

You can generally pick up the Axa reprints that were done for the US market at reasonable prices second hand, and whilst the reproduction isn't the best in places they're still good.

JBC, I'm pretty sure I have the 1992 yearbook in a pile of neglected comics here and after your that post about your love and loss of it I'd love to send it to you. If you're interested PM me your address.

What about a pyramid of white chocolate skulls for old Tengri?

Sweets should be Love Hearts, obviously.

There's only a handful of situations where I would choose a dripping and bloody human heart over a nice box of sweets tbh, so you might be onto something there.

Seems smart to me also: a lot of comic creators are going this route now. Just on what we've seen so far I'd back this.

A couple of friends use Kickstarter for projects and have complained they take a decent cut of revenue, but the main challenge they've faced is promoting in failry saturated markets which I assume Rebellion will have no real issue with.

3 more weeks till I can get this tooth removed even with by going private, aaargh!

Can confirm a private dentist is a lot posher and nicer to visit than the NHS one (as more expensive, obvs)

That's grim news for you there Hawk, hope the health insurance covers the bulk of it. Wisdom teeth really really suck: mine have done a load of damage to my other teeth, and I'm not even wise to boot.

Hooray!

Thanks all. Anti-climatically the tooth was not extracted - I was referred to another dentist instead for a possible surgical extraction.

I'm sick of it now and have made an appointment with a private dentist tomorrow for a consultation. It's expensive but I'd only spend that money on comics and records.

I know its a very unpopular opinion but I think I prefer the Kek Indigo tales to John Smiths ones: the level of deliberate obfuscation appeals to me, and the horror levels are dialled back a bit.
I totally get why a lot of people aren't fans though.
